There are a few products that have been proven to reduce wrinkles:

  • Retinoic acid (acidic form of Vitamin A) and Retinol
  • Vitamin C serums
  • Peptides

RETINOIC ACID AND RETINOL

This is the gold standard for repair of sun-damaged skin. Some people may experience irritation when using vitamin-A creams. If this is the case, let your skin dry for 10 to 15 minutes after you have cleansed and applied your moisturizer. Then apply a pea size amount to your face and neck. This is easiest when added to your nightly skin care routine.

If you notice fine lines around your eyes and lip (around age 35), you can add a specific eye cream:

PCA skin®: Ideal Complex® Restorative eye cream.

PCA skin® : Ideal Complex® Revitalizing Eye Gel .

PCA skin® : EyeXcellence.

VITAMIN C SERUM

This product is great for aging skin and hyperpigmentation. It stimulates collagen production, suppresses new pigmentation, and helps with inflammation. Apply it after you cleanse and before you apply your moisturizer.

PEPTIDES

The collagen in your skin is a protein in your skin that provides a foundation and thickness for skin. As we age, our skin loses collagen and becomes thinner reveals more wrinkles. Environmental factors, such as sunlight, also deplete collagen. The collagen breaks down in to peptides, which signal your skin to produce more collagen. When skin care peptides are applied topically, it also stimulates your skin to produce more collagen. In turn, your skin becomes smooth and youthful appearing.
